Dental Care
I offer doggy teeth trials, deep cleans and maintenance cleans using Emmipet, an ultrasonic toothbrush that has been clinically proven to remove plaque and improve the breath & oral hygiene in dogs. Poor oral hygiene in dogs can lead to serious health issues as they get older so it’s really important to keep on top of their teeth cleaning!
The micro bubbles generated by the toothbrush and Emmipet toothpaste penetrate deep into the gum pockets (up to 12mm in soft tissue), killing any bacteria lurking there, whilst helping to break down plaque & tartar.
Breaking down the tartar takes time and a number of appointments may be needed and the number required will be dependent on the condition of your dog’s teeth at their first appointment.

Puppy Packages
My Puppy Package is designed to introduce your pup to the sights, sounds and smells of the salon environment and it is important to start them as young as possible so they don’t become overwhelmed. As a general rule, puppies can start their journey with a professional dog groomer two weeks after their second vaccination.
We use lots of different pieces of equipment to groom dogs – a shower, dryers, blasters and clippers to name but a few. All of these things have their own noise, smell and ‘feel’ about them. For example, dog grooming clippers vibrate lightly so we introduce these slowly to puppies so as not to frighten or overwhelm them.
Puppy Package appointments are structed as follows:
1st Appointment
Your puppy will spend about 45 minutes exploring the salon, enjoying play time & treats whilst getting to know us. They will have a very gentle introduction to some of the grooming equipment and we will get them up on the grooming table for a gentle brush through, eye/hygiene tidy and nail clip as required.
2nd Appointment
- $An assessment of your pup’s coat and general condition.
- $A gentle brush through to remove and tangles and identify any knots/matting.
- $Warm bath with puppy shampoo. We will only use conditioner at this stage if it is required.
- $Tidy up of face, feet & hygiene areas using scissors & trimmers and a nail clip as required
3rd Appointment
This is repeat of the second appointment to refresh and reinforce what your puppy has learnt at appointments 1 and 2. We will continue introducing your puppy to the grooming equipment throughout these appointments, in preparation for…
4th Appointment – Their first full groom!
All of the above, plus: Pet cut, breed standard styling or de-shed as required.
All appointments include bandanas, a spritz of puppy cologne and we also allow plenty of time for breaks, play & even naps should they been needed! Cuddles are included free of charge.💜
