Meet Jo
Hi, I’m Jo and I am the owner/founder of Betty & Bertie’s Dog Grooming Ltd. I trained as professional dog groomer at Riverside Dog Grooming School in Sale, Manchester where I achieved an OCN Level 3 Qualification in Dog Grooming.
It is very important to me that you know that you can trust me with your ‘furbabies’ at all times and that I will treat you and the dogs I my care with respect and professionalism, as will all members of staff’.
I consider myself to be friendly, approachable, considerate and kind, with the welfare of your dog being my number one priority at all times. I believe I offer value for money in my salon, which is based on Springwood Industrial Estate in Braintree and provides a safe and secure environment where your dog can relax and enjoy their groom.
Meet Bertie
Hi, I’m Bertie, a Maltese x Yorkshire Terrier and I like to keep my Mum on her toes at all times! As Head of Meet & Greet, I will be there to meet you on arrival but other than that, I can often be found snoozing in my crate next to my Mum’s grooming table. It’s the only crate in the salon and I don’t mind sharing it with some of our doggy visitors sometimes, but Mum never puts them in there, they just help themselves! I may be a small dog but I have a BIG personality, which you will soon see when you come to the salon.
Meet Jojo
Hi I’m JoJo a Romanian Pudding Hound* and as Head of Security, it is my job to bark when anyone arrives or knocks on the door – I take my job very seriously so please bear with me! I am a Rescue Dog who had a tough start in life, but I landed on my paws when I first came to England. Jo’s Mum was my Mummy then but Jo is my Mummy now. I can be a little nervous at times, but I’m very friendly and I just love a tummy tickle! (*That’s a made up breed because nobody knows what I actually am!).
